SOLO GRETE GROSS
“Confines”developed out of Grete’s graduation solo at Salpaus Further
Education circus department in Lahti,
Finland. At the Lack of Art Festival, she will
be performing her first work-in-progress
presentation.
Grete: “In the longer piece, I wish to delve deeper
into the main subjects of
my thesis act. In “Confines,” an individual tries to
fulfill society’s expectations as a
woman, a daughter, and
the young bearer of a,
brighter future. It is the
story of a
human being struggling
to find a way to accept
and love herself just as
she is. “
MAGO “IN TIME”
What no ear can hear, no eye sees, no
hand could ever reach... What is
actually going on in the secure shelter of
the human mind? If one of us
was given a chance, just for an hour, to
turn the world into
the place in which she or he would wish
to be, how odd would it get out
here? What happens when you let one
mind full of the craziest fantasies
pull the strings and control the others?
*Three graduating students of Salpaus
Further Education circus
department, Amandine Doat, Grete Gross
and Otto Tammivaara will present
a challenge to open the door into secret
innerworlds and discover what
is hidden in the depths of each person.
