Festival with a mission
The festival will promote, educate and
encourage artists and audiences to embrace the format of street performance.
There are no tickets sold, there is no entry
fee to see the shows. There are no classic
stages. It is up to the artists to transform
their pitch into their own performance
world. The shows are not limited to a
specific genre - you will have the choice
of enjoying dance, theatre, music, acrobatics, aerialists, fire tricks, comedy, magic,
spoken word, and a mixture of all of the
above. It is pure street performance.
The atmosphere is intimate, personal and more
engaging than in a theatre. It is open, honest and
accessible.
Tip your artist
If you like what you see, then audience
members voluntarily donate directly into
the hat of the performer. The atmosphere
is intimate, personal and more engaging
than in a theatre. It is open, honest and

Street is the begining of everything
Household names such as Eddie Izzard, Tracy Chapman, Steve Martin, Rod
Stewart, Robin Williams, Pierce Brosnan,
Bob Dylan and Cirque Du Soleil (to name
just a few) cut their teeth on the street
and arguably this helped shape them as
performers. With a vibrant mix of local
and international acts, we will definitely
see talented artists with exciting futures
during the 2 day festival.
