Getting together
There have always been people enthusiastic about Estonian circus, and thanks to
them, circus in Estonia has flourished. Finally, different actors have come together
to found an umbrella organisation for
circus in Estonia— the Estonian Contemporary Circus Development Centre. Their
first event, the Estonian Circus Festival,
will take place in April.

The main aims of the Development Centre are:
• To develop Estonian contemporary
circus in order to increase recognition
and funding of the art in Estonia.
• To increase the competitiveness, sustainability and export of Estonian
contemporary circus, and to improve
the cooperation between different
fields of art.
• To develop international collaboration.
