As summer approaches , many tourists will be flocking to the coast to enjoy the delights of the beach . Inspired by Jersey ’ s new campaign ‘ Where Sea Meets Soul ’, now feels like a good time to take stock of the greatness that Brighton has to offer as a fellow tourist hotspot .

Jersey ’ s campaign set to run from the 4th March until the 31st May 2024 , is designed to showcase Jersey in a new perspective as a beautiful place for tourists to visit , emphasising how invigorating and rejuvenating the seaside can be for your soul .
The campaign also aims to challenge outdated perspectives that there is little to do in Jersey by showcasing what the island has to offer year-round including its local heritage and varied landscape .
Anna Hafsteinsson , Marketing Executive for Visit Jersey , said : “ We ’ re trying to really capture the beauty and drama of Jersey ’ s coastline to show that even though we ’ re a small island , it feels expansive and there is a lot to see and explore here .”
Many tourists also find that Brighton shares a dynamic and intriguing atmosphere of adventure and discovery like Jersey through exploration of the city and the seaside .
This can be seen through the Brighton Pier , an amazing tourist attraction along the sea front which bustles with many different activities in the summer , The
Laines that buzz with quirky creativity , the rich arts scene , and other historic landmarks . These similarities make both destinations a great place to visit .
Anna Hafsteinsson said : “ I think the nice thing about Jersey is that although we ’ re only nine by five miles , there is a great deal of variation , and you can pack a lot into a short trip .
You ’ ve got stunning coastal paths and beautiful beaches , but we ’ ve also got a really lively and vibrant food and drink scene .” Many of the beautiful beaches in Jersey such as St . Brelade ’ s Bay , St Ouen ’ s Bay or Plemont also provide a variety of activities ranging from a relaxing afternoon of sunbathing or swimming , where the sea does meet the soul , to water sports activities such as kayaking or surfing .
If you are looking into exploring the food side of Jersey there are many places where tourists can indulge in fresh seafood , local and traditional dishes such as Jersey Royals , and a taste of Jersey ice cream which leaves you wanting more on a summer ’ s day .
The campaign also features a variety of local aerial imagery of Jersey ’ s coastlines , taken by local
Jersey photographer Marc Le Cornu , owner of Bam Perspectives , creating a distinctive connection between the land and sea to encourage a wave of new and previous visitors from different demographics .
Anna Hafsteinsson also said : “ Where Sea Meets Soul combines stunning aerial imagery with a fresh look and feel , helping us to appeal to a slightly younger demographic whilst still resonating with Jersey ’ s existing visitor base .”
