I like luxury vinyl flooring and engineered hardwoods as opposed to carpet , but those who like the softness of carpet should look for low pile options .

Compared to a decade ago , we have so many more options to help us age in place . We are a more tech-savvy generation than our parents were , and this will undoubtedly make staying in our own homes easier than it was for our parents .
