Happy summer, MALP members!
Summer is the season of long days, hard work, and the unique challenges that come with New England weather. As the temperatures climb, I encourage everyone to make hydration and heat awareness a priority, both for yourselves and your crews. OSHA shared some excellent resources at our June meeting, and they ' re available at www. osha. gov / heat-exposure.
While summer is one of the busiest times of the year, it ' s important to step back occasionally and invest in your business. Our August Business Building Seminar offers exactly that opportunity. Roger Phelps will share practical strategies for attracting and retaining great talent by building a strong company culture. As always, these seminars offer a chance to exchange ideas, learn from one another, expand your network, and return to work with fresh perspective. I hope you ' ll join us.
Looking ahead, we have two more membership meetings to round out the year on September 30, and December 16. If it ' s been a while since you ' ve attended, consider this your invitation to come back. The conversations are genuine, the atmosphere is welcoming, and there ' s always something valuable to take away. Better yet, bring a colleague and introduce them to MALP. Connecting professionals, sharing ideas, and strengthening our industry is what this association does best.
