PRESIDENT ' S MESSAGE
Hello MALP Members ,
From what I ’ ve heard , everyone is off to a great start this season . We ’ re all busy , we ’ re doing a lot more with less , and we ’ re getting it done ! Summer is a chance to slow it down a bit , take time with family and friends , and join fellow members at upcoming MALP events .
The sense of camaraderie among members is a significant benefit of MALP gatherings . Sharing experiences , challenges , and successes with like-minded people promotes a supportive community that provides valuable insights and support .
I ’ m looking forward to our Business-Building Seminar with Bob Maffei on August 21 . Attending seminars like this one are crucial for all of us looking to succeed in our career . Bob will present a wealth of experience on how to build and grow a successful landscape business . And for all of you who know Bob , you know he ’ ll be generous with the information he shares .
Next up is Fall Field Day on September 25 . Through the years , this event has grown to become a knowledge hub where industry trends , technological advancement and best practices are shared in the classroom , as well as in the field . Staying updated on the latest information is critical to staying competitive and innovative in our rapidly evolving profession . It ’ s also a great opportunity to catch up with friends ( old and new ), enjoy live music , eat some good food , and maybe try a German brew .
MALP events are not just about going to meetings ; they are about investing in one ' s professional development , forging meaningful relationships , and staying ahead in a competitive market . The cumulative effect of learning , connections , camaraderie , and networking ultimately contributes to the overall success of our members and their businesses . Please continue to reach out to the board and provide feedback on seminars and topics you ’ d like to hear more about . You have a voice and we want to hear it !
