Book Fair
Our annual book fair will be held next week.
All pupils will have the opportunity to view the books and they will be placed on sale after school from Monday 12th till Thursday 15th November. The sales will take place in the hall between 3:30 and 4pm.
Alternatively, parents can use the
form on the information leaflets which have been distributed to each child to order a book. The completed order forms can be handed in to the office or to your child’s class teacher with the correct payment.
Samaritian's Purse
This year our Academy would like to support the Samaritan’s Purse, International Relief Scheme. This organisation works with churches in over 130 countries worldwide to provide Christmas gifts for children living in difficult circumstances.
As a Church School we believe that this message of God’s love is extremely important and also provides an example to our own pupils of how they can be caring children.
Each class has been provided with two shoe boxes, one for a boy and one for a girl, and we are now asking for donations to fill the boxes. Suitable items include stationary, small toys, hygiene items such as a tooth brush, soap, and sweets (not chocolate).
As all the items have to fit into one shoe box per class we are not asking for the children to bring lots of items. A very small, inexpensive gift would be fine. We are certainly not asking for pupils to spend a lot of money. In this way we can also demonstrate to our pupils how a little gift from each of them can grow into a sizeable donation.

Is your child 4 years old before 1st September 2019?
If yes, and you require a school place in September 2019, you will need to make an application by the closing date of 15 January 2019.
