SPORTing round-up
In recent weeks there have been a number of sporting events and, as always, our pupils have done us proud; here at St John’s we ‘work hard – play hard!’
On Wednesday 27th March, the Year 5/6 Tag Rugby Team took on top opposition from the district.
Only 3 Year 6 pupils were available due to the Y6 Paris Trip that week so it was down to our Year 5 pupils to step up to the plate.
They certainly did, winning every game and gaining qualification to the County Finals.

Please ensure that any Eagles’ bookings for the week commencing 29th April, where possible, are received by 10am on Friday 12th April along with full payment.
head lice
Headlice are very common among young people all across the UK but they are harmless and treatable. We have produced a parent guide which provides information about the effective treatment of Headlice and which outlines school procedures when headlice infestation is suspected. This guide can be found on our website. A paper copy of this guide can also be requested from the office.
There are a variety of treatments available for Headlice and your pharmacist will be able to offer you any additional advice or support as needed. Some treatments need to be repeated so it is important that you check the pack carefully and follow the instructions to ensure that there is the greatest chance of successfully eradicating the infestation. Treat headlice as soon as you spot them and remember that you should check everyone in the house and treat them all on the same day, if they have head lice too.
