Sports Report | Years 3/4
Tuesday 13th November saw the Year 5/6 Girls Football team travel to Gentleshaw and played in only their second competitive game together.
The squad were successful and looked liked they had been playing together for much longer as they won the game 6-2.
Then on Thursday 15th November, it was time for the Year 5/6 Boys to also travel to Gentleshaw to compete in the Annual football tournament, they were under pressure to succeed as the Year 3/4 team had been so successful the previous week. Year 5/6 did not disappoint, winning all their games and working as a team exceptionally.
Completing a busy schedule on Thursday 22nd November, saw the Year 5/6 Boys travel to St Peter's. Not being complacent and too over confident from their previous success, the boys played with great determination and team spirit throughout the match to achieve a very successful 5 - 0 victory.
This week the Year 5/6 Girls successfully reached the County Finals held at St George's Park. The Girls gave 100% effort throughout their group games, but unfortunately the standard was very high and they missed out on qualifying for the final.
Afterward's the girls got a behind the scenes look at where the England National Teams train when preparing for upcoming International fixtures. Click on the images below for full screen views.
On Thursday November 8th, the boys Years 3/4 football team traveled to Glenthorne and successfully won the Annual Tournament.
The team showed great team unity and while winning in style were humble in victory.
