Safer Internet Day

Tuesday 5th February will be Safer Internet Day 2019 and the academy will be participating in a number of activities, assemblies and learning journeys concentrating on the importance of being safe while using the Internet and digital technologies.

Keep an eye out on our social media accounts on Twitter and Facebook to follow what we’ve been doing.

Class Assemblies

We have recently started our programme of class assemblies to which parents are invited. Every individual class from Reception to Year 6 will deliver an assembly between now and the end of the academic year. These assemblies are held in the school gym with a start time of 9:10am and are normally completed by 9:40am.

A full programme for this term is outlined below and class teachers will issue specific invites nearer to their allocated date. We look forward to seeing many of you there.

Baby News

In January, Mrs Lewis, our Early Years Leader, gave birth to twins, a baby boy Miller and a baby girl Violet. We are pleased to say that the twins and their mom are all well and I'm sure you would like to join us in wishing them well.

Crossing Patrol

We are very pleased to say that Geoff, the Crossing Patrol Warden on Hobnock Road, will return to his post on Monday. Geoff has unfortunately suffered with illness over the last few weeks and has of course been greatly missed. I am sure you will all join us in welcoming him back on Monday morning.
