Key Stage 1 Christmas Plays
We would like to remind parents of the scheduled dates for the forthcoming Christmas Plays. A full timetable is listed below for your information. The organisation of the large number of shows does present us with some potential issues and we have some requests that we hope you will support us with.
As usual, we will not be operating a ticketing or charging system as we are committed to allowing all parents and grandparents the opportunity to see the plays. We would however like to particularly request that parents do not attend both performances of their child’s show as this may cause us to exceed our admission safety limits. We are confident that we are able to accommodate everyone who wants to attend if parents and grandparents only see their child perform once.
Please note entry into the school building for parents will not be available until 20 minutes before the show starts.
We are of course aware that because the performances take part during the school day many parents have to take time off from work and this may involve them arriving at different times to other family members. In the interests of fairness we would ask that no more than one seat is reserved in these circumstances.
We would also like to remind parents to park considerately and avoid blocking access to local residents’ properties.
Our Academy continues to offer a large number of shows for parents to attend and enjoy seeing their children perform. The 8 performances are a fabulous feature at this special time of year and we are committed to maintaining this tradition. We hope that all parents understand our approach and support us with our requests so that everyone can have the chance to enjoy the shows and collect some wonderful memories.
