Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Thank you to all the parents and people in the community who continue to give our academy fantastic support. We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Adverse Weather
The snow and ice this week have proved to be a challenge for us all. We are glad that we were able to provide a service on Monday and Tuesday for those parents who needed to send their children to school so that they could attend work themselves. All our staff managed to attend and demonstrated their great commitment to St. John’s.
As always, we respect the decision of parents who decided it was unsafe for them to bring their child into school. We are of course aware that individual circumstances do differ and it was not practical for every child to attend.
It is important to note that we may not be able to open on all occasions of bad weather in the future but wherever possible we will try to remain open.
