NAME BADGES New members to the club will in future be issued with a standard Maleny Bowls Club name badge. The cost for this will be included in the joining fee. This measure will save new members having to obtain their own name badges and members with uniform badges will present a better image when hosting visitors or playing at other clubs. Members have the chance of winning cash, meat, a meal or fuel – but you must be present if your number is drawn out! 5.30 pm GRANTS UPDATE Green lighting. The club plans to use the grant money to commence work on the installation of green lights, once some issues have resolved with our contractor. Men’s toilets. An application under the major grants programme of $7,500 to help in upgrading the Men’s toilets is presently being considered by the Sunshine Coast Regional Council. Bar glass washer An application under the minor grants programme of $2,000 to purchase a new glass washer for the bar is being submitted to the Sunshine Coast Regional Council this month.
