IAN HANSEN RECOVERING IN MALENY HOSPITAL
Ian had an encounter with a 4WD at Morayfield just before Christmas, resulting in a right leg broken
in two places and other injuries. After stays in a Brisbane hospital and Nambour hospital, Ian is now
slowly recovering in Maleny hospital. We wish him well and a speedy recovery.

MALENY SHOWGROUNDS
Maleny Bowls Club has been given the use of one of the croquet lawns by the Croquet Club to
demonstrate the game of bowls at the Expo. Bowls members will be present all morning showing
Expo visitors what the game of lawn bowls is all about.
This is a great opportunity to interest the pubic in lawn bowls and perhaps attract new members.
Bowls club members are asked to wear their club shirt and help, even for a short time.
The day starts with an Apex breakfast followed by the RSL flag raising ceremony.
