VISIT BY EVENTIDE SOCIAL BOWLS CLUB
Sixteen players from Eventide Social Bowls Club came to play at Maleny, together with 12 players from MBC, on Sunday 21 st July.. The visitors, travelling by bus, arrived early. Most of them walked across the road to the markets in the RSL hall and arrived back laden with‘ Maleny Goodies’. An exceptional lunch was prepared by our club ladies which was enjoyed by everyone. Afterwards the players had a great game of triples in bright sunshine, which was a pleasant change from the continuing wet, cool weather. The winners for the day were Doug McClintock of Eventide, and Helen Caulley and
Curley Petersen of Maleny. They defeated a team with Ian Hansen as lead and Eventide players. This was a great social day and our visitors are sure to come back – and they want us to visit them at Eventide malenybowlsclub @ bigpond. com
