Anoka-Hennepin Technical High School students are
experiencing college and career on a whole new level
For the first time, students at Anoka-Hennepin
Technical High School (formerly Crossroads West)
are experiencing a college
environment right on
campus. The school, now
uniquely located on the west
end of Anoka Technical College in
Anoka, focuses on college and career readiness as a
diploma completion program for 18-21 year olds.
Students have access to more classes, more
opportunities and more people their own age being
part of the college campus. “They really have an
opportunity to focus on their future and learn all the
possibilities available to them,” said Jeff McGonigal,
associate superintendent for high schools. If a student finds an interest in a technical-based program,
all they have to do is walk down the hall and
