BACK TO SCHOOL DETAILS
The following are scheduled dates
for back-to-school open houses.
Please check with your child’s school
for specific times.

Elementary – Wed., Aug. 27.
Middle schools – Tues., Aug. 26.
High schools – Wed., Aug. 27.
STEP – Tues., Aug. 26.

1. Political affiliations or beliefs of the
student or student’s parent.
2. Mental or psychological problems of
the student or student’s family.
3. Sex behavior or attitudes.
4. Illegal, anti-social, self-incriminating,
or demeaning behavior.
5. Critical appraisals of others with
whom respondents have close family
relationships.

Early childhood
screenings available

6. Legally recognized privileged
relationships, such as with lawyers,
doctors, or ministers.

In Minnesota, all children are required to
complete Early Childhood Screening before
they enter kindergarten. Ideally, the screening should be completed as soon as a child
turns 3 years old and must be completed
before the child attends public kindergarten. Screening is a free, simple check of
a young child’s health and development. It
does not determine kindergarten readiness.
