William Shakespeare wrote a myriad of romantic poems and plays . This month , we can use the sayings from his work to impress someone special . Which quote can you say when you feel great affection for your partner ? Two lines from Sonnet XXIX couldn ’ t be more suitable !
‘ For thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings That then I scorn to change my state with kings ’
The speaker is saying that when he thinks about his lover , it brings him joy and happiness . He would not trade this love even he could have kingship in return . The poet revealed his grief of having bad luck , but ended the poem by telling readers that he could combat these negative feelings by pondering his lover because it makes him feel as if he is the luckiest man alive . By saying this to your devotee , he or she may understand how important and irreplaceable they are !
