La Escuela de Gastronomía Mariano Moreno – Colombia

La Escuela de Gastronomía Mariano Moreno Colombia had the honor of remembering and celebrating Chef Paul Bocuse for the second consecutive year with its students and teachers . The Chef Paul Bocuse Week has allowed the school to exalt the work of a professional kitchen icon worldwide . Workshops , contests , exhibitions , and talks evoking the charm of French gastronomy were a daily dish during these two weeks in La Escuela de Gastronomía Mariano Moreno Colombia .

FRENCH CUISINE WORKSHOP The first activity was led by Chef Manuelita Montes , graduate from Institut Paul Bocuse . Currently , she is a culinary teacher here at Mariano Moreno Colombia . The workshop was about French cuisine and some classic Paul Bocuse recipes .

INTERNATIONAL PASTRY CONTEST The 2 finalists of the pre-selection step of the international pastry contest were : Laura Villa , Luisiana Calle y Nestor Avila - Bogota finalists ( Picture 1 ) Jessica Monsalve , David Calle y Catalia Vasquez - Medellin finalists ( Picture 2 )
COLOMBIAN FOOD WORKSHOP During the second week , Chefs Luis Martinez and Alex Salgado conducted a very special workshop about traditional Colombian food . Both of them currently teach at Mariano Moreno and also do research all over the country with the goal of rescue the traditional Colombian cooking techniques .

National Kaohsiung University College of Hospitality and Tourism -Taiwan

INFORMATION SEMINAR OF INSTITUT PAUL BOCUSE National Kaohsiung University College of Hospitality and Tourism held the Information Seminar of Institut Paul Bocuse and 2018 Alliance Summer Program during the Chef Paul Bocuse Week . This aimed to promote Institut Paul Bocuse and the Worldwide Alliance , as well as the 2018 Alliance Summer Program . We invited alumnus to share about their study experience in France . Many students attended the seminar to learn the spirit of Institut Paul Bocuse and the advantages of the Alliance Summer Program .
INTERNATIONAL PASTRY CONTEST The international pastry contest was held at NKUHT , Taiwan . Congratulations to Florance Haung and Pei-Wen Wang for winning in the first stage of the competition and qualified for the online final step . Their realization was named : Chocolate Mousse Cake .
