The second day of the training began with presentations from the AMX Listing Department. Elen Barseghyan, AMX Business Development Analyst, discussed AMX market segments and the benefits of listing, such as regulatory environment, tax benefits, government support, international market access, and flexible fees. Diana Sahakyan, AMX Listing Promotion and Issuer Relations Specialist, explained the securities listing process and requirements for shares and bonds, as well as listing fees. Varduhi Muradyan, AMX Listing Specialist, presented the capital market development promotion plan and state support program, along with an overview of market values and issuers.
Elen Davtyan, AMX Trading System Administrator, described the Market Operation Department's activities, including monitoring trading processes, overseeing risks, onboarding AMX members, managing order flow, ensuring smooth settlement, and enforcing trading rules and regulations. She also highlighted the advantages of becoming an AMX market member.
Armenuhi Tangabekyan, AMX Depository Services Specialist, outlined CDA services such as registry keeping, custody services, securities and cash accounts servicing, cross-border settlement, and market clearing and settlement. Levon Klekchyan, CDA Chief Depository Services Officer and Deputy CEO, introduced the Depend solution by Percival Software, registry keeping processes, securities identification numbers, and corporate actions handled by CDA.
Shushan Karapetyan, AMX Senior Securities Market Specialist, detailed AMXTrader's module-based architecture, core technological modules, reporting, and administrative capabilities. In March 2023, AMX launched the second phase of AMXTrader for the secondary market, allowing new exchange products. Davit Simonyan, AMX Trading Support Specialist, overviewed the gp.minfin.am platform, a government bond real-time allocation and buyback platform for the Ministry of Finance of RA.
