Adrian Tanase, BVB CEO, mentioned: "Convinced that the development of a stock exchange can't come without state-of-the-art market mechanisms and infrastructure, I am looking forward to attending the conference discussions over capital markets and the role of its stakeholders. BVB embarked itself in a recent CCP project which is meant to bring derivatives trading to the stock exchange. Making fully functional the lending & borrowing mechanism and the online account opening for individuals are also mechanisms that we are focusing on now."

#ConFEASMoments
Yesterday, we were talking about diversity, I think this is the value that FEAS is setting to our lives, to our organizations. It’s about diversity - diversity of people, and we have to use this diversity to learn from each other, while respecting ourselves and the others, our heritage. Learning how to build and develop our capital markets together.

ConFEAS is the perfect platform for collaboration and knowledge-sharing. We are delighted that Armenia is hosting ConFEAS 2023, where we meet with the brightest professionals from exchanges, CSDs, banks, regulatory bodies, and other financial institutions worldwide to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in modern capital markets. As the general investment partner of this event, Apricot Capital believes that through the development of capital markets, enhanced effectiveness of transactions, and improved customer experience, we will contribute to the overall growth of the Armenian economy.
Vardan Amaryan
Founder - Apricot Capital
The annual ConFEAS event, previously held in Abu Dhabi and Bucharest, marks its first occurrence in Armenia this year.
Today, under one roof, approximately 40 influential speakers from the capital market have gathered to discuss the prevailing issues and opportunities within the industry. This event presents a remarkable opportunity for all participants to acquire new knowledge and establish valuable connections through networking.
I think it’s incredibly important to acknowledge, that the development of capital market is strategic priority for the Central Bank and Government together. As a regulator and as a Central Bank we want the capital market to develop. I think the key success for the development of capital markets, is basically the organic marriage between the predictable microeconomic environment and technology – these are the two pillars to build on the development of capital markets.
I’d like to welcome all to our country, to sunny Armenia. I hope you will enjoy your stay here, and I hope this conference would enhance the dialogue between us as public sector representatives, and various private sector representatives – stock exchanges. Here we can understand whether our thoughts, our thinking are aligned with your thoughts, with your strategies as stock exchanges.
