S3 Business Management Virtual Work Experience
We would like to say welldone to 14 of our S3 Business Management students who completed virtual work experience placements via Springpod .
The work experience placements spanned a variety of different industries ranging from Fashion ,
Journalism & Aircraft Engineering ! 💡
S3 Accounting Elective
Each student to complete the placement received a certificate each ! Fantastic work everyone .
Financial Statements & Stock Market Game
Our S3 Accounting Elective were learning about the financial statements of a sole trader . After Easter they will be moving on to Budgeting and taking part in a holiday budgeting task that they will present to the class .
Students are also participating in the Stock Market Game run by the SIFMA Foundation – this teaches students about investments , giving them $ 100,000 of virtual cash to invest on the New York Stock Exchange . Students work in teams to research and make investment decisions of their own .
It has been a competitive challenge so far and we look forward to seeing how the teams perform in the region ! Well done everyone . Click here for more information about the competition .
