BUDDY SCHEME EVENT The kickoff BBQ as reported by International Tutor Juho Valtonen WHO?: Buddies + International Tutors Juho and Indi WHERE?: Tai Mei Tuk Bahia Restaurant Chung King BBQ WHEN: November 17th, 2017 We kicked off the Buddy scheme this year on a high note and had our first activity on Friday, November 17th by having a BBQ Party in Tai Mei Tuk. The weather was very nice for an out- side BBQ party, and everybody who attended had a blast. It was an all-you-can-eat style buffet, with a time limit of 3-hours, so we enjoyed a very relaxed meal. After running out of time, we were not asked to leave the restaurant, but were allowed to stay there as long as we liked. It was very nice service and worth the price of HK$178 (plus charcoal boxes of HK$50 per table). We enjoyed tasting many different Hong Kong style BBQ foods from lamb skewers to beef steaks, clam pots to big, juicy shrimps, and egg- plants to tofu.
