STRAWBERRY BANANA MANGO SMOOTHIE
Ingredients
For the strawberry layer:
1 cup chopped fresh or frozen strawberries
1/2 banana
1/2 cup milk (can be your favorite kind, soy, almond, etc.)
1/2 cup ice
1/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt
Handful of spinach, if desired
For the mango layer:
1 cup chopped fresh or frozen mango
1/2 banana
1/2 cup milk (can be your favorite kind, soy, almond, etc.)
1/2 cup ice
1/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt
Handful of spinach, if desired
Instructions
1. Beginning with the ingredients for the strawberry layer,
2. Place all ingredients in a blender.
3. Blend until smooth and frothy.
4. In two glasses, pour smoothie until half-full.
5. Repeat directions with the mango layer.
6. Pour mango layer over the strawberry layer and serve immediately.
