Not everyone is comfortable in a traditional gym setting
and not everyone is motivated to work out on their own.
That’s why I offer one on one training sessions in my
office and boot camp classes at Miller park twice a week.

As someone who loves fitness and who was in school at
one point for Exercise and Sports Medicine, I was so
excited to interview Jodi Lelievre for this month’s cover
feature! Jodi is the owner of Focus Fitness, a certified
Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach. After graduating
from Greensboro College with a degree in Exercise and
Sports Studies, she worked many years in the traditional
gym environment.
After a while she decided to start her own Fitness
company and Focus on empowering women. Here is
what she had to say about Focus Fitness and what it’s all
about. “Focus fitness is where you find your personal
strength. It’s a comfortable place to connect with other
women, release the negative, and boost your confidence.
My biggest goal is to create a comfortable environment
and make people feel welcome.”
“I also focus on mindfulness with my clients. We talk
about food cravings, the struggles of not wanting to get
up and come work out - real life struggles. Let’s face it,
not everyone’s life revolves around fitness or
themselves. As women, we try and do it all. We spread
ourselves too thin, putting other first, and in the end, we
suffer. But when you work with me, the sole focus is on
you and helping you accomplish your goals. I’m not here
just for the last-minute beach body scramble. My goal is
to help you achieve confidence, ease and empowerment
throughout all the seasons of your life.”
Jodi has a new Stroller Fitness class beginning in
September and an Earn Your Bird Bootcamp just in time
for the holidays!
Sweat it out before putting it on. A pre-holiday
