Despite the weather not being ideal for some of southern Indiana sport fanatics, in colder temperatures people still go out and tailgate, especially like for National Football Association games. Though the temperatures have forced some of tailgating indoors, it still happens.

Q: What made you all want to start tailgating for football and volleyball games?
Answer: Just being in the atmosphere before the game starts feels like we are part of the game. Instead of stretching and going over the game plan, we choose to relax, eat, get to know the other parents, see great friends and reconnect with other alumni.
Q: What inspired you to start tailgating?
We have tailgated since my youngest brother played football at Providence in the late 90s. We took a break from football games for a while. Our daughters played volleyball at Providence, so we started to tailgate those games when possible. Now, we are back to football with our son playing. Last year, was our first year back to football and the football tailgating hasn’ t seemed to miss a beat.
