“ Martial arts taught me lots of discipline and respect just when I was 5 and got into taekwondo,” Bartley said.“ The sport has taught me to respect others more and not like nowadays kids are rude and don’ t respect authority. It teaches respect, discipline and self-defense.”
But the belt group means just having“ different skills.”
“ The main thing is we’ re all humans and we have to relate to each other,” Haynes said.“ By learning martial arts, you can find new ways to relate to others in better ways.”
