On June 9, Origin Park marked an important milestone with a groundbreaking celebration at The Vista. The event brought together community leaders, project partners, and supporters to recognize the progress of a vision that has been more than a decade in the making.
The Vista represents the first major vertical investment within Origin Park and offers a glimpse of the quality and experience that will define the park in the years ahead. Built through strong collaboration and support from philanthropic, financial, and public partners, the project reflects a shared commitment to transforming a once heavily industrial landscape into a regional destination for recreation, connection, and renewal.
Speakers highlighted the long-term effort behind Origin Park’ s development, including land restoration, environmental planning, and community partnership. The celebration also acknowledged the many individuals and organizations whose belief in the vision has helped move the project forward.
While the groundbreaking honored how far the project has come, it also served as a reminder that Origin Park’ s story is still being written, with much more to come as development continues.
