on the rebirth of Cherry Valley Golf Course

Joe Byrd took over ownership of Cherry Valley Golf Course in New Albany in 2020. The par 29, nine-hole course is great for beginner golfers but also can challenge more experienced players.
Joe restored the greens and brought back the lure of the course, which is located at 600 Cherry St. The course hosts regular scrambles, youth golf tournaments and other fun events.
We wanted to know more about the man behind the magic of Cherry Valley, so we asked Joe a few questions.
