Strengthening the Land: A Year of Stewardship
This year we continued the essential, quiet work that makes everything else possible. With the dedication of RHC staff and our committed community partners, we removed invasive species across 103 acres of woodland, cleared 13.5 acres of former junkyards, and removed more than 2,000 feet of unused utility lines and poles. We added 42 new acres to the park, recycled over 650 tires, and hauled out 40 cubic yards of trash from Buttonbush Woods.
Through cleanup and care, we’ re building a healthier land that supports recreation, learning, and connection for generations.
