COUPLES’ CLUB
CHAMPIONSHIP

This year’s Couples’ Club Championship was played much differently than last year.
The previous format was just a better ball of partners, but this year, everyone played
a modified Pinehurst, or alternate shot. After 18 holes of play, there was a three-way
tie for Gross Champion and a two-way tie for Net Champion. The teams of Igata,
MacDougall and Weiner were playing for the gross title while the MacDougalls also
played against the Soroskys for the net title. After two exciting playoff holes we had
determined our winners: Congratulations to our Gross Champions, David and Ann
Igata, and to our Net Champions, Sandy and Sharon MacDougall.
