Passports
The Cherokee County Clerk ’ s Office offers area residents the opportunity to acquire first-time and renewal passport applications . The applications can be completed at travel . state . gov or by going to the clerk ’ s office at 213 W . Delaware St . Room 302 .
First-time passport applicants can download the forms , but they must be submitted in person . A fee of $ 130 will be applied for renewals and firsttime passport books , while children under 16 years old must pay $ 100 . A $ 35 application fee will be applied to all transactions , excluding an adult passport card for anyone with a valid passport book .
Vehicle Rentals

Boats
Boat tags can be obtained at tag agencies , and they can be renewed for one or three years . An Oklahoma title and registration must be purchased annually for all boats used as a means of transportation on Oklahoma waters with outboard motors of more than 10 horsepower .
Registration cards are sent out a month prior to expiration or an email with the needed information will be sent upon request from the Oklahoma Tax Commission . Boat and vehicle renewals can be done online at ok-cars . tax . ok . gov .

Public Transportation
The Tahlequah area offers various public transportation services , including ride-sharing services , such as Uber , on a limited basis .
Another transportation services in Tahlequah includes the UKB Transit Department , which provides the general public along with tribal members , demand-response transportation . The department is at 18419 W . Keetoowahs and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a . m . -5 p . m .
No calls will be taken from noon-1 p . m ., with the last call accepted at 4 p . m . Service is subject to the driver ’ s schedule , time of day , and distance of the ride . The service areas are within the UKB districts and destinations outside of the jurisdiction .

Rides , which are by demand , from the Ki Bois Area Transit System are available by calling 918-453-1155 Monday through Friday from 8 a . m . - 4:30 p . m . Children who are 9 years old and younger are required to be accompanied by an adult . Fares for children from 5 to 9 years old are $ 1 per stop , with those younger than 4 years old being able to ride for free . Adults and children must pay $ 2 per stop . Those with a CDIB card can ride for 50 cents per stop within the city limits of Tahlequah .

Airports
For those needing to take flight , Tahlequah offers both public and private airports .
The private airports , which often require pilots to garner permission before landing , are in Peggs , Snake Creek in Cookson , and Whitehorn Cove in Wagoner .
Public airports include the Tahlequah municipal airport , which has a 5,001- foot asphalt runway that is 75 feet wide . The airport is at 2100 Airport Parkway , with a terminal that has a flight training room , private hangars , a visitors lounge , a flight planning room , a meeting room , a quiet room , and unattended fuel pumps .
