Boats
Oklahoma boat tags can be obtained at tag agencies . The Oklahoma Tax Commission , which regulates tags , sends registration cards about a month before expiration , or will email the information upon request . Boat tags can be renewed for one or three years . All boats used as a means of transportation on Oklahoma state waters with an outboard motor of more than 10 horsepower must have an Oklahoma title and registration , which

Public Transportation
Ki Bois Area Transit System or KATS is available to the public . Rides are available by calling 918-453-1155 from 8 a . m . to 4:30 p . m . Monday through Friday . Rides are by demand . Contract hours for TANF , SoonerRides , and job routes vary . Prices are $ 2 per stop for adults and children under 10 years old and $ 1 per stop for children 5-9 . Rides are free for children 4 and under . Children 9 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult . CDIB cardholders can ride within Tahlequah city limits for 50 cents per stop . Trips out of the city limits require 72-hour prior notice . All out-of-town trips are based on time and availability of vehicles . KATS also provides a feeder service to intercity bus services in the area . The UKB Transit Department , 18419 W . keetoowah Circle , provides Keetoowahs and the general public transportation in a demandresponse format . it is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a . m . to 5 p . m . with the last call accepted at 4 p . m . No calls will be taken between noon at 1 p . m . due to employee lunch break . The service areas are within the nine UKB districts and destinations that fall outside of jurisdiction , such as Tulsa .

Two public airports and a few private ones are available
for flying enthusiasts and those who may need access to an aircraft .
The Tahlequah municipal airport , 2100 Airport Parkway , has an asphalt 5,001-foot runway and is 75-feet wide . The airport terminal features a visitors lounge , flight planning room , a flight training room , a meeting room , a quiet room , and unattended fuel pumps that accept Visa and MasterCard . Private-use airports are in Peggs , Whitehorn Cove in Wagoner , and Snake Creek in Cookson . Most owners require pilots to get permission prior to landing .
