We ran international events too at Foster Park & got it on TV with the Duke of Edinburghs Trophy that made Sydney burr up Ken finally got to ride his Greeves & enjoy it as the club was running well with new blood & new ideas . With the backhoe I & Our workers built a bridge on acquired pallets across the swamp & that gave us several more Klm of challenging terrain .& its still there to this day Belmont club had a new challenging play ground I was never short of workers this let Ken & Sadie get on with their lives again but they still worked @ 44 Cheif St Belmont Nth got all the mail & phone calls day & night they had created a monster that would consume their lives for many years to come . A stroke has left him with several health problems that he will find ways around , the law has taken his freedom & wont let him ride his Matchless & sidecar but I feel there are ways where we may be able to get him back in the saddle soon I am working on it , its my next project to put a smile on his dial even if its only for a day or so . I would like to thank the remaining members of the Belmont district MCC of which I am a proud life member along with , Ian Thompson , Ray Carter for their generous donation to our Classic Motorcycle Club Inc Belmont district MCC now being wound up because times have changed the fun police have won again we have all grown older , our bodies wont do all those crazy things we enjoyed on our dirt bikes with many great friends Page 3 We still have to this day lots of great images captured on media we still have to process with a sound track to let the next generations know we have been there done that That ' s why we are this funny shape & walk with a limp its the price you pay for a great life with good folks .
