From the Editor ...

Well what a year this has been for a newcomer like myself !
So many ups and downs , teething problems as the club has adjusted to the new magazine formats etc . I sincerely hope that what I have done for the club in that respect will be the beginning of new things . There are so many possibilities for what can be achieved with technology these days , but baby steps , I hope the club continues to move forward technologically speaking .
Many of you probably already know , Chris and I are expecting our second child in late early September this year , so having “ two under 2 ” is going to be a bit of a handful to say the least . So on that note , I wanted to let everyone know that I will not be running for the position of Magazine Editor this coming year .
If anyone is thinking about it and would like to chat with me about it you are welcome to give me a call anytime . I will of course ensure I give a sufficient handover to the successor .
I am happy to continue improving and maintaining the website . I have a lot of ideas with this and what is possible , but didn ' t want to bombard the club with “ too much too soon ” and would be happy to liaise with the committee further down the track . However , in saying that , if there is an I . T . guru who is much more skilled and proficient in website management of course they are welcome to take this on .
I would love to take this opportunity to thank those who have shown their overwhelming support this year . It has not been a smooth run by any means . Change always comes with it ’ s fair share of resistance and problems . I hope the new Editor can take the ball and run with it now that I have paved a bit of a new path with the magazine . I am sure there are many amazing stories to come .
Anyway , we will still see you all around ! I cant wait to see what the next twelve months brings for the club !
Ride Safe ! Jenn :)
