Its been a 2 way street as it gave me great pleasure to pass on info & skills to folks who went to the trouble to ask for help with motorcycles that needed help with their mechanical problems .
I have also learned heaps along the way about many things in life & the folks we get to work & play with .
The way they react to my warped sense of humour that finds it ’ s way into print for all to see & I make no apologies for that its life as I see it I am prepared to cop the fall out if I am caught out doing something dumb or just discovering the limits of a challenge that ' s been put up , it keeps your brain alive in this worn out old body .
Computers & technology are tools that I have embraced & used in my long life inspired by folks that took the time to teach a dunce like me that there is nothing to fear about failure only the failure to learn new skills because of ignorance & that there is a cure for that , if you wish to face the challenge its rewarding in many ways you may have only dreamed about .
To me Computers are a multi purpose tool that I find more uses for in the real world every day to ask questions , find answers , evaluate the info & store it for later use , record my personal mistakes or crazy ideas that I learn from with any luck .
There is always someone ready to correct your conceptions on how things work in my world of engines that cover many reactions in physics as I was taught in high school only it was saved to the brain with a cane & pain back then & cant be deleted but can now be recalled & used as the laws of nature that make them still apply we are just finding more work for these rules to be used for & the time frames getting shorter all the time as we understand how it works . If anyone would like to take over this part of the magazine & use it as I have or take it to a different direction of their choice as a voice of our Classic Motor Cycle Club Inc I will attempt to help them with stored info as I have amassed a digital library of images & stories I can share with anyone that needs it to keep our club magazine worth the cost , time & effort to put it in print each month & post it out .
