The time has come when I must say thanks all the great folks in the Newcastle Classic MCC for putting up with my ravings over the years when Joe Henry sadly no linger with us & I decided to revive the club magazine as a tool to spread the word about our club Its been a great tool as the club was growing for spreading the word that restoring your chosen ride can be great fun , then riding with like minded folks to prove the machine & restorer were worth the cost & trouble they had gone to being an active member of our organisation . Sadly we have lost many great loyal members over the years taken before their time leaving holes in the organisation that were hard to fill but we did & kept growing to the group that we are today .
My good friend Len Grant & I have decided that its time that 2 X 80 + year old farts should pull the pin on the tasks we perform within the club activities ' for family & health reasons . So we will no longer be standing for any office or available for swap meet duties . The machines we built for that job are available & the gear we have can be passed on to the next folks to take up the job we have been doing for several years they will be in good working order & verbal instructions are available as to their operations .
The labour of love that Twisty Bitz has been for me since it was resurrected has been a tool that has let me tell my personal outlook on life & Motor Cycling folks that have passed through my time space & if I have offended some over time ” STIFF “ but thanks to the many many friends Anita I have had the pleasure of gathering on the trip through life on Classic Motorcycles has been wonderful for us we have many pictures to prove it . Lots of folks have helped us along the way & I personally thank them for that hand of friendship we needed at times to take the pain away & keep going .
