Branch Treasurer’ s Report
You may( or may not) have noticed that I sign off this report as interim Treasurer?! I have been covering this role on a temporary basis since March this year- but as I have now returned to my pre-maternity employment I am finding it harder and harder to juggle home, work and Treasury! Therefore we are actively seeking someone with a good head for numbers to take this over from me( you don ' t have to be a qualified accountant- but knowledge of how invoicing and credit control works is a help!). The commitment is not onerous- but there are peaks and troughs in the amount of time needed in order to be able to manage our suppliers and customers. I will be staying on the committee as Deputy Treasurer and will be able support during the busiest time after our Nearly New Sales.

Waitrose Green Tokens
A big thank you to everyone who gave their green tokens to the NCT box in the Newbury Waitrose Branch. Jo, our branch secretary and Caroline, our treasurer, were presented with a cheque by Mrs Owen for a grand total of £ 325.00.
