I

can't remember the exact moment in which I fell in love with the arts. Being more of a visual artist, It may have been when I took drawing classes in fourth grade. Something about putting a utensil to the paper to bring an idea to life was intriguing.

Living in New York, you don't realize how many artists you're surrounded by. Every week I'm discovering a new venue, a new writer, visual artists, etc. It was about last week when I visited the DIA:Beacon in Beacon, NY and after posting my adventure on instagram for the world to see, someone said to me - how do I find all these places and people ? We live in an area where the art scene is constantly growing. I started the NY muse to showcase the art world within New York. I plan to give recognition to NY artists, events and areas to showcase what it's like to be an artist in New York. Say hello to the New York art scene and lets start conversing.
