Both residents and visitors enjoy the small-village feeling of
Clinton, but Clinton has a lot going on! The Clinton
Chamber of Commerce organizes the weekly farmers’ market and
major yearly events like the Clinton Art & Music Festival and the
Clinton Shoppers’ Stroll and Holiday Parade. Over the summer, the
Village of Clinton and Town of Kirkland sponsor weekly evening
concerts on the village green.
My office is located centrally in Clinton, and I love being able to
walk to the restaurants in the village and visit the Kirkland Town
Library and the Kirkland Art Center. The Clinton Central School is
also located in the village, so we are able to see the high school
students enjoying the village green during their lunch breaks.
We’re lucky to have Hamilton College as a neighbor, contributing
to the vibrancy of our village.
When friends and family come to visit, we take them to
visit the Clinton Farmer’ Market, on walks at the Root Glen
Arboretum at Hamilton College and to tour the Saranac Brewery
in Utica.
We also love Woods Valley Ski Area in Rome, which offers skiing
and snowboarding, and the
