Chamber Partners
Royal Credit Union was made up of just 100 Members when it was organized in April 1964 to serve the employees of Uniroyal and their families. Later, we applied for and were granted a community charter.
With more than 285,000 Members today, on the surface we don ' t look a lot like we did when we just occupied a small office in a tire plant, but our commitment remains the same. We offer a breadth and depth of financial products like checking, savings, investments, home loans, auto loans and more. And, as a not for profit, we return our earnings to you via lower loan rates and higher deposit rates.
Stop by our New Richmond office and talk to our team members, who are here to help your story unfold the way you envision.
Partnering with the New Richmond Area Chamber has been a strong connection that is something we value.

FNC Bank is a third-generation locally owned community bank offering a complete line of personal and business banking services for more than 100 years.
Chartered on August 1, 1919, FNC Bank( a. k. a. First National Community Bank) began its’ history in the New Richmond Area. Henning Soderberg, a draft clerk at the then Bank of New Richmond, learned the banking industry by taking grain drafts, opening and closing bank windows, and sweeping the sidewalks. His love for the trade continued to grow and on January 5, 1926, Henning became a bank cashier at the First National Bank, thus beginning the Soderberg family banking history.
On June 1, 1964, Henning’ s son, John Soderberg, began his career at the bank, under the watchful eye of his father Henning. John learned about banking from the ground up by working in various positions for several years, and eventually succeeded his father as President and CEO upon Henning’ s retirement in 1987. John understood that a bank needs to have a larger presence to successfully serve a region such as Western Wisconsin, and he oversaw expansion of the bank to branches in Somerset, Hudson, and Dresser.
In 2012, John began the succession process which brought his son Scott and daughter Libby into the fold to continue his community banking legacy. Scott took the reins as CEO in 2020, ushering in another generation of Soderberg leadership and reinforcing the commitment that FNC Bank remain a community-focused institution.
FNC Bank remains committed to supporting local businesses and residents in achieving their financial goals. As a community bank, we strive to provide exceptional service and build meaningful relationships with our customers and community members. As a community partner, we have a responsibility to assist in the growth and success of our local communities through service, area partnerships and financial means.
Experience the difference when you work with a hometown bank that understands and supports our local communities.
