A lot of exciting things have happened since I joined the Mt. Carmel team June first! We started with our annual fundraising dinner, Denim and Diamonds. The response was overwhelming and tickets were sold out within two days. Many
friends and supporters joined us for the delicious dinner and the bidding was competitive but fun on the generously donated auction items. Dana Crawford was an engaging speaker and SCRT always puts on a first class entertaining performance. I’ m looking forward to seeing what our team does for next year’ s Legacy Dinner! Stay tuned it will be lots of fun.
July brought with it the 6th Annual Mt. Carmel Festival. The Colorado Springs Conservatory teamed with us to provide a weeklong workshop for area children and their hard work culminated with the children performing“ School House Rock” to kick off the festival. The smiles on their faces set the perfect tone for our day. It was so nice to see multigenerational families enjoying the games, festival food, musical performances and bands together.
It has also been fantastic to see the families enjoying our campus with the many reunions, weddings and other celebrations that have taken place during the weekends. Please consider hosting your next event with us and allow our dedicated Primero Café and Catering staff to make it special for you. Primero Café now delivers. Call and order for your next office party and / or simply enjoy a delicious lunch delivered to your home. Call us at( 719) 8454822.
I am pleased to announce the addition of two medical providers to our Clinic. Dr. Richard Amesquita, DO is now part of our awesome team. Carmel on September 6th.

The choir will consist of students in grades 4 through 8, For more information, please call Debbie Fiorenzi, Event Coordinator,( 719) 8454895 or Connie Pallone at( 719) 8466679. We are working arduously to open the Center of Healthy Living on our campus later this Winter. If you are a likeminded wellness provider, please contact me about space to lease. Stop by and say hello to our staff or try one of the new menu items at Primero Café. We value being part of the community and I encourage you to contact me with any praise or concern.
