MDR in the Loft is a series of stage readings hosted by Midtown Direct Rep in the
SOPAC Loft. The Subject (October 12) -- A new play by Chisa Hutchinson
Additional Theatre in the Lofts are scheduled for November 2; January 25, 2015;
and March 8, 2015.
Founded in 2010, Midtown Direct Rep is a repertory theater company named for
the New Jersey transit line on which local residents commute to New York City. The
company is composed of accomplished theater artists and seasoned Broadway veterans who call Maplewood/South Orange their home.

We are looking forward to Godspell in March. We are Monmouth County’s oldest community theater, having been founded in 1953, but Godspell represents our
first foray into musical theater. We would like theater fans to know that although we
work very hard, rehearse 8 weeks long, and sweat every detail, we have fun doing it.
We believe there is no greater source of pride than a job well done.
