them in that world and vision, let the actors do their thing, and suddenly that vision you had in your head is brought to life it doesn’t get much better than that. And I am addicted to it. As far as arts in New Jersey what would like to see more of? More new shows being produced and work shopped. We are so close to NYC and Philadelphia or location can’t get any better, we should be where every show on Broadway or off-Broadway gets its start. I believe we would see that happen if the New Jersey Theater going public is willing to take chances on something new. I think they will if they know that as works get work shopped here they could be seeing something that will be huge across the river. As long as the theater and the theater companies keep it affordable I think the patrons will take that chance and New Jersey is where shows and plays can get their start. What else would you like the public to know about the arts New Jersey Stage in Hackensack? I want people to know that the arts are vibrant and alive in Hackensack, and in the future when the new facility is completed it will only get stronger, bigger and better.  At this point we can boast that many Broadway performers and professionals got there start here in Hackensack, and more specifically at The Hackensack Cultural Arts Center. I want people to come down here see a show.  Its always affordable so whether you love it or hate it you can at least say that you came and did something different or saw something different. A person forming opinions on events is the point of good art, and for under $20.00 you can be a part of that. If any arts organizations are interested in becoming part of the Hackensack family, you can reach Greg at [email protected] or call 201-820-3007.
