Putting together a production on
stage is a collaboration of many
individuals with many talents and
anyone who tells you otherwise are
either being untruthful or selectively minded. The starring actors
usually get all of the audience accolades as they are the main focus
however, they would be nothing
without their supporting players,
director, stage manager, music di-

rector, stage crew, set crew, publicity people, and other personnel
who contribute not only to a success of a show but its very existence. Very often in Community
Theater and in Equity Theater many
of the aforementioned show duties
are filled by the same people.
It is these multitaskers who are
usually the first to open up the
rehearsal space and close and
