have collected photos, programs, stories and a plethora of
theatrical treasures which have
provided the inspiration of their
own work in the theater. Celebrating some of the great (and
not so great) performers ever
to have acted in Shakespeare’s
plays. Their stories come alive
through the sometimes funny,
sometimes tragic stories of their
lives interspersed with scenes
from the plays in which they
acted and the fleeting remembrances of their grand performances. It is a tribute to the
men and women of the Classical
theater for whose work we are
forever grateful.
Centenary Stage presents this
play April 10-26.
