or the organ). The organ was a big deal for us as it was THE organ used by Booker T on those great Stax recordings. One of the songs we recorded was called “Good- bye Again.” I played organ on that one. As I recall, the piano needed to be recorded separately be- cause it was in the same room as the drums. So, Adam went in and played while the rest of us listened from the control room. He did a great take, and at the end, he played stuff that had my jaw hang- ing open. Just so great. Sadly, the mix I have of it fades out, and you can just hear him starting to riff and then it’s gone. I would love to know if the tapes still exist. Epilogue - The Red House was dropped from SBK and disbanded in 1992 due to lack of “a hit.” At many of our last series of live per- formances, Adam’s friend Chris (Collingwood) would come and watch. He and Adam were start- ing a side project, which I thought was great for Adam to have an outlet to assert more of his thing. Of course, the rest is history.
