Hollywood was another destina-
tion for Schlesinger. Led by That
Thing You Do!, the list included
songs for Ice Age: Continental
Drift, Shallow Hal, Robots, There’s
Something About Mary, Josie and
the Pussycats, Scary Movie, Fever
Pitch, Orange County, Me, Myself
& Irene, and many more.
Artists such as Katy Perry, the Jo-
nas Brothers, The Monkees, Bowl-
ing for Soup, Superdrag, America,
and will.i.am have performed his
songs. And Schlesinger produced
or mixed work by artists like The
Monkees, Dashboard Confession-
al, Verve Pipe, Robert Plant, They
Might Be Giants, to name a few.
In addition to Fountains of
Wayne, the profilic songwriter was
also in projects like Tinted Win-
dows and Fever High.
