Losing Adam is a terrible blow
to music. He was young and tal-
ented, and had so much more
music to write, whether for the
rock world, for soundtracks, or for
Broadway. He would probably
have written for all of the above,
as he was always restless for new
projects. So sad. Such a loss.
Rich Robinson, 90.5 The Night
As a fan of old-school power
pop, I thought they were great,
really capturing the feeling of
the 60’s, but keeping it sounding
fresh. I always admired the way
Adam could turn a phrase. He
wrote well crafted, intelligent lyr-
ics, with a great sense of humor,
and he brought that sensibility to
his other projects, but he didn’t
make Ivy sound like FOW with a
female singer. Never got to know
Adam, but the few times I had the
chance to talk with him, he always
came off as a just a guy from Jer-
sey. No ego; no BS, just a kind of
humble guy. I heard from other
musicians who worked with him,
and they all spoke really highly of
him. Can’t believe he’s not around
anymore.
